Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content and Communications Coordinator to support our Communications team with various tasks related to content creation, including newsletters, social media content, email drafts, and other miscellaneous communication needs. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience in the field of communications, while contributing to our organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in creating and editing engaging content for newsletters, emails and social media platforms.
•Support the development and execution of content calendars.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends to enhance content quality.
•Collaborate with team members to ensure content aligns with the organization's messaging, goals and monthly needs.
•Assist in day-to-day communication tasks, including responding to inquiries and drafting responses.
•Participate in content publishing and scheduling.
•Monitor and report on the performance of content, suggesting improvements.
•Help maintain the organization's content library.
Qualifications:
•Excellent writing, copywriting and communication skills.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
•Proficiency using various social media platforms.
•Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
•Enthusiastic and proactive team player.
•Familiarity with email marketing platforms and content management systems is a plus.
Requirements:
•Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field OR at least 1 year of professional content creation experience.
•Available to work 20 hours per week.
•Strong commitment to cultural exchange and global understanding.
