What This Job is About:
RedPeg Marketing is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and exceptionally organized individual to take the helm in leading and executing creative storytelling through video content. In this exciting, newly created role, you will collaborate closely with our social media and cross-functional teams to breathe life into social-first video content across various platforms, all in support of our company's initiatives.

As the key creative storyteller, you will help reimagine how we create content for our clients and for RedPeg, by blending imaginative ideation with video content creation, serving as a versatile video editor responsible for capturing, assembling, and transforming video footage. Your role will encompass applying artistic editing techniques and crafting finished, top-notch videos.

Responsibilities include:

• Revise and optimize existing video content for social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and any emerging platforms as needed.
• Strategize, develop, produce, and edit videos to bolster RedPeg Marketing's social media endeavors, including shooting video content in our offices, onsite, or wherever needed.
• Take charge of all aspects of video production, both short and long-form, from pre-production to post-production, and site approvals as needed. This includes filming, editing, color correction, basic sound mixing, and incorporating motion graphics.
• Oversee the post-production process, including the selection of low-res and high-res video material.
• Maintain a well-organized library containing raw media, ongoing projects, and final masters.
• Assist in curating a music library and knowledge regarding licensing for use by RedPeg Marketing, Clients, and Influencers.
• Engage in content brainstorming, storyboarding, and creative problem-solving. Evaluate video performance analytics to drive continuous data-driven insights.
• Stay up to date on Digital Content trends, styles, and narratives in the social landscape and propose fresh ideas and creative solutions in response.
• Be prepared to travel in support of the social media team's live events and attend local gatherings, with the ability to produce quick-turn, edited content.

What You’re All About:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in video content creation, specifically for social media, encompassing organic, paid, and influencer marketing content, as well as digital media, including storyboarding, shooting, and editing.

• Proficiency with video equipment and editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other similar programs.
• Advanced video editing skills, including the ability to create high-quality, captivating video content for social media platforms. This includes tasks like trimming, cutting, arranging footage, adding transitions, music, sound effects, visual effects, color correction, grading, and incorporating text overlays and captions.
• Someone with a well-versed portfolio, highlighting styles and skillsets
• The capability to manage the editing workflow to align with established processes and meet deadlines.
• Comfort in managing and effectively communicating with diverse personalities throughout the creative process.
• Bonus Points: If you're a creator yourself and are comfortable appearing on video (though not required).
