Duties & Areas of Activity:
- Work with clients to achieve project targets, coordinating with managing partners and team members to manage and maintain a consistent message for projects.
- Explore innovative messaging tactics
- Support a broad array of project activities through communications
- Develop and produce engaging written, visual, and multimedia content for digital channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and video platforms
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital communication strategy that aligns with the project goals and the desired target audience.
- Create and curate images, video, and infographics for visual content
- Plan and schedule digital content and monitor digital communication trends
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase visibility and engagement, analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Create email marketing campaigns and oversee website content to ensure up-to-date accurate, user friendly information
- Take on tasks, big and small, as they arise for the success of projects
- Coordinate approvals for project/campaign materials with necessary parties
- Maintain relationships with digital media outlets and influencers for outreach and coverage
- Maintain relationships with current clients/candidates, pursue opportunities to expand and reach new clients
- Leverage company’s role in local and statewide spaces to build partnerships and coalition across leaders, non-profits, IE groups, and businesses
- Maintain current knowledge of political dynamics and candidate recruitment efforts throughout the state
- Support team members, meeting regularly to ensure campaign/project success and individual skills development
- Attend weekly meetings to ensure professional development
Desired Qualifications:
- 1 or more cycle of campaign experience or project management a plus, but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail, self-directed, flexible, takes a “no task too small” approach
- Fluent in Google Workspace, particularly Sheets, Docs & Drive
- Skills in diplomacy, negotiation, consensus building, and relationship development
- Strong social media and writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working long, irregular hours in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Willingness to continually learn in a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
