Our New York office has an immediate opening for an energetic, Senior Digital Strategist with a true passion for global healthcare communications with a specialty in all things digital and social. Our ideal candidate comes prepared to work in an all aspects of healthcare, from promoting consumer-friendly disease awareness campaigns to high-science clinical data and regulatory milestones. This individual must possess a blend of strong writing and analytical skills and ideally, have experience translating complex science issues into consumer-friendly messages and materials. We also expect strong familiarity with digital and social channels, both existing and emerging. Ideally, this person will have experience functioning as a project manager for projects that involved technical production teams, including UX, design, creative, content and technology specialists and have the flexibility to manage the needs and wants of each specialist.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic counsel that reflects deep knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical product communication and issues management
- Support the development of integrated client proposals with a focus on digital and social elements of plans and presentations
- Experience with analytics, including development of scorecards designed to merchandise results and distilling reports designed to inform strategic insights for users
- Act as a true strategic partner to both to primary account teams and external clients
- Oversee operational performance of assigned account, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence
- Demonstrate tactical proficiency in social media management, including counsel on community management, content creation and metrics reporting
- Supervise junior staff by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedback
- Serve as a leader in development of thought leadership pieces relevant to digital and social innovation the healthcare space
- Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of public relations experience, with an emphasis on healthcare communications and digital strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
- A personal passion to work across all verticals in the healthcare space
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships and true enthusiasm for the work
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful communications programs for healthcare brands
- Strong writing and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to contribute to strategic thinking and the development and execution of programs
