Oak Lane Assisted Living and Memory Care, professionally managed by Ohana Ventures, is a premier senior living community that is seeking a Dietary Cook that would be under the direction of the Food Services Director. This position is responsible for quality-of-service delivery during meal service, cooking , serving meals and , bussing tables . The Dietary Cook is responsible for communicating with the community on all appropriate matters.

Able to follow communicated planning, directing, controlling, and coaching. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, strong personnel skills, and positive community relations skills to be successful.

Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Cooking
Station assignments that would perform assigned side work that may include but is not limited to: Cooking , food prep , dishing salads and dressings, preparing snacks, etc.
Compliance with Sanitation and Dietary Guidelines

Experience
Preferred…….Previous food service or other customer service-related fields
Working Conditions
Professional kitchen environment. Uses basic equipment in the kitchen such as toasters, juice machines, coffee makers, etc. Verbally able to articulate in person and over the phone. Meeting minimum attendance requirements.
Dietary encounters stressful conditions dealing with residents, employees, and business activities. Also must be able to work well under pressure, to resolve conflicts, to prioritize tasks, and follow through with ideas. Excellent verbal and written skills, interpersonal and mediation skills, ability to evaluate workers' performance, strong working knowledge of employment laws and company regulations. Must be able to work evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Physical Requirements
Sitting, walking, bending, data entry, reading, written and verbal communication, and lifting to 50 pounds. Standing for prolonged periods of time while serving food.'
