Your responsibilities as a Mobile Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
- Perform emergency road calls
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
To become part of the NFI team you:
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Own necessary essential tools
Have a technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
Have the ability to obtain a Class B license
ASE Certification in preventative maintenance & brakes preferred
