Qualification:
Technical Certifications preferred
Verifiable experience required
Must have a Positive attitude and willing to grow in position
Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
Must have Valid Driver License
Must pass Drug & Alcohol screening
Must have own tools
Ability to learn and accept responsibilities
Knowledge of DOT regulations/OSHA regulations
Safety first orientated
Position Summary: Diesel Mechanic Technician
Perform tire service
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform brake repair
Perform minor and major repair
Repair heavy duty trucks, trailers and tires by inspecting for problems or responding to mechanical problems noted by drivers
Perform all wheel end repair
Perform brake and tire related repair
Trouble shoot and repair ABS system
Inspect and repair steering components
Troubleshoot / repair electrical and lighting problems
Clean Shop area
Trailer repair for Diesel Mechanic Technician
All major and minor repairs
