Diesel Technician - Custom Training Instructor

Lincoln Tech in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to share their knowledge and experience for a potential upcoming open position for their Custom Training Program—no teaching experience required. Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned technicians into effective educators.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in servicing and maintaining class 8 vehicles
• OEM or Equivalent industry related training
• Required ASE's: T4, T5, T6, and T8. Preferred: T1-T8
• Ability to read electrical schematics and flow charts
• EPA 609 certification

 Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly and concisely using approved course materials and teaching methods.
• Communicate, support, and enforce school policies and procedures; advise students accordingly.
• Provide students with academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement as necessary.
• Develop learning aids, projects, and formative or summative assessments relevant to the subject matter taught.
• Contribute to the curriculum review process as necessary and required.
• Where applicable, visit externship/internship/clinical/technical partner sites and complete the required documentation as assigned.
• Aid in class equipment and inventory controls
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
