What you’ll do on a typical day
- Track completed and uncompleted work to maintain adequate production in order to meet service schedules and customer commitments
- Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on the component parts and systems of trucks, tractors, converter gear, and forklifts
- Diagnose any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or other type of breakdown or potential failure
- Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cooling system tests, brake adjustments, and tire inflation
- Repair or rebuild all or part of a system of assigned equipment as needed
Here are the key things you will need to have
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Driver's License
- At least 6 months related experience and/or training
