Diesel Mechanic

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as faulty fuel injectors or worn-out pistons - Conduct brake repairs and replacements as needed - Inspect and maintain suspension systems, steering components, and other related parts - Troubleshoot electrical systems and make necessary repairs - Utilize diagnostic tools to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions - Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, to assist with repairs or maintenance tasks - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role - Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components - Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks If you are a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth, we encourage you to apply. Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
