Diesel Mechanic

Robertson’s Ready Mix is seeking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Southern California. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of diesel engines, mixer components and accessories in compliance with California regulations. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations and be able to perform all required tests and procedures. Responsibilities

· Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment to comply with California regulations.

· Trouble shoot and diagnose engine problems and perform necessary repairs.

· Replace or repair engine components and systems, such as fuel systems, cooling systems, and DEF systems.

· Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.

· Identify and order necessary parts and supplies to complete repairs.

· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Communicate effectively with management and team members.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1-5 years truck-trailer repair experience preferred (will train suitable candidates)

· Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

· Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and software.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid California drivers license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to work full time and overtime hours

· Knowledge of California regulations for diesel engines after treatment systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
