DEXA Technologist (Part-Time Weekdays)

This Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry career opportunity is located at our diagnostic imaging centers where we offer multi-modality and provide a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.

As a RadNet DEXA Technologist you will:

• Perform high quality bone density images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Monitor patient's well-being during scan; take appropriate action when patient discomfort or medical problems are recognized.
• Assist patient onto/off exam table when needed
• Check patient histories and clinical indications and consult with the Radiologist when necessary to determine appropriate scanning procedure.
• Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.
• Releases patient with proper follow-up information

Requirements:

• California State Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) Permit or CA State Diagnostic Radiologic Technology License
• BLS certification issued by AHA
• Recent DEXA experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
