Are you passionate about rapid delivery of capabilities through a secure Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline to production systems? As a DevOps Professional at RGi, you will be working closely with your Agile Team and coordinating with other Release Trains to enable rapid delivery of capabilities - from development/test to production, across multiple network domains and operational environments. You will be designing and maintaining multiple DevOps pipelines integrating and deploying numerous components into the larger system infrastructure. Deployment will be across multiple networks into hybrid architectures consisting of both local and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and able to learn quickly.
As a DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining pipelines utilizing the latest practices, processes, and technologies. The pipelines you build will be critical to the success of the team and include, but is not limited to: source control, continuous integration, automated test, security scanning, artifact storage, and automated deployment/delivery. Your role is where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions.
In this role you will provide mission essential services by transforming ingested file-based data sources, regardless of specification, to allow for search and discoverability when data is stored in National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) libraries and other locations. In addition, Full Motion Video (FMV) and Moving Target Indicator (MTI) capabilities allow FMV and MTI data to be transcoded where applicable and disseminated in near real time at multiple security levels. Includes software development, implementation, and deployment to operations.

As a DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer you will...
- Perform systems engineering
- Integration and testing of systems composed of algorithms
- Work with COTS/GOTS packages
- Testing withing custom software and commercial hardware.
- Software testing and integration testing
- Factory acceptance testing against requirements
- Automated testing and test script development
- Integrating, upgrading, and managing virtual computer systems
- Administer, manage, and provision VMWare ESXi virtualized servers
DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years related work experience in software test engineering
- Experience with aspects of software development: infrastructure, design, development, test/QA, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
- Working experience with JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence
- Working experience with Puppet/Selenium specifically for automation
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 operating system
- System admin of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9 and essential Linux network service configuration
- VMware - vSphere and vCenter Administration
- Shell/Perl/Python scripting
- File system appliance management (NetApp filers etc.)
- LDAP Administration
Additional Qualifications we would like to see...
- Knowledge of GEOINT enterprise highly preferred
- Experience with deployment of software systems to virtual machine environments
- Experience integrating with PostGres
- Experience with the following engineering tools/technologies: scripting (e.g., Perl), DOORS, Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Git, etc.)
- SOAP based web services (WS-Security experience highly desirable)
- Ozone Widget Platform/Framework widget integration
- Attribute based access controls specified through SAML
- Integration of product file parsing (NITF, GeoTIFF, etc.)
- Web service integration with Apache Service Mix
- Java applications deployed to Java Enterprise application/servlet containers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.)
- Integrating with OGC compliant applications familiarity (CSW, WGS, WMS, WCS, etc.)
- Geospatial metadata representation of records (standards experience preferred: ISO 19115/19139)
