Primary Role:
The DevOps Developer position will be in support of a Department of Energy client, with the goal of maintaining, and improving the current CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps. ***Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with Azure DevOps is an absolute must. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.*** The DevOps Developer will manage software development operations, implement engineering tools, and use their process knowledge to streamline updates or creation. Candidate must be local to the Washington DC area.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to Design, Build and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines.
- Ability to manage Azure DevOps environment for optimal performance.
- Provide level 2 technical support.
- Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
- Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improves processes companywide
- Ability to deploy database scripts.
- Ability to improve database deployment.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience worked in Agile teams.
- Experience with writing technical DevOps Documentation.
- Some experience with Azure Cloud Migration, Monitoring, and Deployment to Cloud.
- Ability to integrate CI/CD pipeline with unit testing and static code inspection.
Experience
- 10+ years’ experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation
- Technical experience requirements include Azure, Azure GOV, Azure DevOps, Azure PowerShell, Bash, SonarQube, and Azure Automation, SQL
- Technical experience preferences include Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Splunk, Datadog, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Selenium, and Artifactory
Education & Certifications
- B.S. in Business/Technology-related field
