We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to collaborate on a team of 4 developers modernizing an enterprise Information System that integrates services to achieve a reduction in the cycle-time and increase efficiencies. Write code, develop features, and maintain the application. Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance. Work on a small collaborative development team that operates on a monthly sprint schedule, to include quarterly upgrades. Adapt to a fast-paced, agile work environment. Utilize a tech stack that includes Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Docker. Manage and update Docker containers to ensure efficient application deployment and scaling, as well as streamline the development process. Engage in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a collaborative and iterative development process.

Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Position Required Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with PrimeNG UI and TypeForm API.
• Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Docker for containerization
• Three (3) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Seven (7) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with JavaScript Framework (Angular, Vue, React).
• Full Stack Development experience.
• Willingness to learn modern technologies.
• Working understanding on SQL and/or NoSQL databases
