Job Description
As a Development Coordinator, you will coordinate and monitor the various procedures that are designed to expeditiously complete construction and real estate related activities for McDonald’s Restaurant Development Projects.
Principle Accountabilities
In addition to the following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Relationships
• Works closely with Legal, Development Director, Expeditor, Coordinators, Construction Managers, Real Estate Field Lead, Area Construction Managers, Real Estate Portfolio Managers, Asset Managers, Field Finance Team, National Field Finance (NFF), Global Business Services (GBS) and Legal Team.
• Educate and serve as a resource to the field development team in processes and procedures (i.e. PCA, Smartsheet, Tririga)
• Maintains relationships among the general contractors, suppliers and franchisees
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking project details in all McDonald’s applications. Including but not limited to: o Smartsheet o Oracle /PCA o US Portal o Milestone Tracker o Tririga o Restaurant Closing Application (RCA)
• Reviews contracts/leases from legal to create a critical dates memo to be shared during the project kick off call.
• Orders and reviews all due diligence, title, survey, site plan, utility plan, confirms ACM reviews and comments on environmental reports.
• Work with outside parties and legal to vacate/dedicate easements as needed
• Prepares Rebuild title and survey comments and submits to legal for review in a timely manner to meet ground break dates.
• Responsible for confirming all required documents are in place prior to project closeouts (i.e. minimum survey requirement form)
• Facilitates and actively participates in Development meetings
• Work with Portfolio Manager to resolve property management issues (legal clearance, property disputes, condemnations, excess property issues, contracts, and deed restrictions, etc.

• Technical skills not limited to Microsoft Office, Oracle and Smartsheet
• Strong people/relationship management skills
• Proficient problem-solving skills and ability to escalate when needed
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
