What Will You Be Doing?
- Design, develop, and modify software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques, as assigned.
- Follows architectural guidelines set by technical leadership and may investigate industry best practices and innovations when developing product.
- Mentors and leads technical activities.
- Leads creative problem solving and participates in product design.
- Works independently with little direction.
- Actively participates in code validation and code reviews.
- Actively participates in process improvement activities and monitors process adherence.
- Responsible for on-time deliveries of multiple tasks as set by management.
- Documents all aspects of written code, including how to build and use software.
- Identifies and creates complex shareable solutions with cross functional teams improving effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
- Escalates concerns, anticipates roadblocks, and creates possible solutions.
- Assists in preparing project estimates and provides feedback on less experienced team members.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
- Must have 4-10 years of software development experience in Microsoft .NET Tech Stack/ Node JS tech stack
- Experience in building decoupled self-contained transactional web applications and API services.
- Must have thorough understanding of loosely coupled distributed microservices with communications constructs and protocols such as streams, TCP, HTTP, websockets, FTP etc.
- Must have experience in C# programming.
- Must have a good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server database.
- Must be proficient in understanding of code versioning tools, such as Perforce/Git
- Must have experience in understanding/implementing design principles behind a scalable application.
- Must have experience with UML modelling and detailed knowledge of design patterns.
- Must quickly be able understand the business / functional goal of the product
- Must have strong analytical strength.
- Must have good communication.
- Must have experience in coordinating with globally distributed Teams.
- Must have strong inter-personal skills to drive a product development team Knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes preferred.
