Developer, Obiee

We are seeking an OBIEE Developer to join our team in support of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contract.  This person will:

• Provide Oracle design, SQL and PL/SQL consultancy and expertise. 

• Implement end-to-end BI reporting solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE). 

• Work with business experts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timelines. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

• Minimum of Five (5) years' experience as an OBIEE Developer. 

• Competency in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) tools, techniques, architectures, and operations. 

• Experience in designing and developing OBIEE RPD components to apply business rules and present information. 

• Understanding of OBIEE best practices and development standards and OBIEE security and server administration. 

• Experience in designing and developing Analytics and Dashboards. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED: 

• Prior VA or Federal Agency experience preferred. Prior Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) experience is a plus. 

• Knowledge of or experience with any of the following: Oracle 19c database (RAC) and GoldenGate, Informatica, APEX, SAS, or Tableau. 

• Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies, architectures, and technologies used to transform data into useable and actionable information. 

• Ability to provide occasional support for after-hours activities. 

• Excellent and proactive interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Self-motivated, team player with attention to detail. 

• Ability to establish personal & team schedules, deadlines, and accountability.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.

• Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education. 

   

CLEARANCE:

• Must be a US Citizen. 

• Must have or be able to attain Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust Suitability Determination.
