Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office/2 days remote). Location is flexible within the Seacoast footprint in Florida.
As a Desktop Engineer you will oversee and perform compliance reviews, troubleshooting and remediation on enterprise workstations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Strong background with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Application packaging and lifecycle management
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Ability to identify potential risks in content creation
- Knowledge in scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch files)
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and effectively work in a complex environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment
- Ability to balance a significant workload, prioritize, and multitask
Required Skills and/or Experience
- Experience with desktop security practices and tools
- Experience with networking and active directory in a large corporate environment
- Strong Microsoft Windows troubleshooting experience
- Proficient with MS Office toolset
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to new processes
- Continuously learn and adapt
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies
- Takes ownership, is dependable, and follows through on commitments
- Some after hours duties may be required.
- Knowledge of Citrix VDI
- Ability to package and deploy applications in a non-persistent VDI environment
- Ability to build, administer, and manage multi-user VDI images.
