Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Specialist specializing in artificial botanical design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing arrangements and installations while ensuring functionality and harmony within various spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, interior designers, and other professionals to deliver exceptional design solutions tailored to meet individual project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and oversee the aesthetic elements of projects, ensuring adherence to client specifications and design concepts.

· Determine project requirements, develop design concepts, and prepare cost estimates.

· Source materials and oversee progress, consulting with clients throughout the process.

· Offer expert advice on incorporating aesthetics and functionality into spaces or products.

· Collaborate with other professionals, such as interior designers and architects, to meet client requirements.

· Create artistic arrangements of artificial plants and trees for diverse settings.

· Arrange plants in various environments to enhance aesthetic appeal and create harmonious spaces.

· Design products and objects for mass production, considering aesthetics, functionality, and user experience.

· Design and arrange artificial flowers and foliage.

· Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the shop and showroom are clean and tidy.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Arrange flowers, plants, and other items using appropriate tools and materials.

· Select floral and foliage for arrangements, experimenting with combinations to develop new creations.

· Plan arrangements according to client requirements, using design knowledge and material properties.

· Communicate with clients regarding pricing, arrangement types, and project timelines.

· Create and change in-store and window displays to enhance showroom image.

· Decorate buildings or facilities as required.

· Perform office and retail service duties, such as servicing customers and answering telephones.

· Conduct demonstrations or train other workers as needed.

Requirements:

· Keen eye for design and aesthetics.

· Knowledge of plant types and horticulture.

· Ability to create floral and plant arrangements that contribute to desired atmospheres or styles.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Prior experience in floral and plant design preferred.

· Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.

· Flexibility to work in various settings, including residential, commercial, and office spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.75 - $27.40 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
