Design Sales Representative

Based out of Oakdale, MN the Design Sales Representative position will service high-end clientele in the Woodbury, Lake Elmo, Stillwater, Hudson, and Surrounding Areas. 

As a Design Sales Representative you will be responsible for creating one-of-a-kind window treatment designs for our luxury clientele in their homes. Working with different textiles and fabrics your design products range from shades, blinds, shutters, and draperies. These provide you with limitless possibilities for creating design solutions that will be a lasting part of our client’s homes!

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A BACKGROUND IN…

• High-end retail sales

• High-end furniture, kitchen, bath, tile sales (or similar industries)

• High-end custom window treatment experience is a plus!

THE OFFER

• Two Commission Options - base plus commission or commission only!

• TRUE first year earnings between $55k - $70k+ with no cap on commission

DAY IN THE LIFE

• Educate clients on our window treatment products, the relevant differences, and direct them toward an informed, appropriate decision through a consultative approach to close the sale

• Bring clients’ dream window coverings to life with your creative use of textile, color, and design

• Negotiate contract terms: selling a collaborative vision and ideal solutions to each unique client

• Specifying and estimating using software to measure, quote, and put together design details

• Maintain client relationships resulting in repeat business and referral relationships

WHAT YOU BRING

• +2 years of Design Sales experience is a must (cabinetry, flooring, kitchen and bath, window coverings, furniture, lighting, etc.)

• Consultative sales methodology (active listening and guiding clients to solutions)

• Previous experience working in an environment requiring HIGH attention to detail

• Proficiency level with technology tools that allow you to generate quotes and manage records in a CRM

• Ability to drive within a 40-mile market to visit client residences in a company provided vehicle 

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
