Job description

Responsibilities:
This position is the Content Production and Design lead for the Enterprise Solutions division. This position ensures efficient and integrated day-to-day management of print, digital, and multimedia Content Production, pilot projects, and communication with internal and external stakeholders – in support of in-year and multi-year growth strategies. Key to this position is the in-depth technical understanding, creation, and continual improvement of an integrated production workflow – including digital asset management – in order to serve multiple print and digital outputs, as well as content syndication/licensing opportunities.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue/margin targets and driving future growth, as part of the Editorial and Knowledge Asset Management leadership team.
  • Create the strategy, policies, procedures, budget, and operating plans for Content Production and Design, while collaborating with Enterprise Solutions leadership on the division’s overall goals and growth strategies.
  • Serve as the “digital asset management” lead. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the content assets, metadata, processes, systems, and enabling technology of the Enterprise Solutions division.
  • Be a strong partner on special projects, in relation to new business opportunities
  • Facilitating the selection, placement, and development of new and existing employees – as well as a team of contractors
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of publishing experience, with broad experience in multiple aspects of the business (e.g., sales, marketing, editorial, production)
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience, with the demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects with defined schedules and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills, including knowledge of editing/proofreading rules and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years management/supervisory experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Multi-media content creation and publishing
  • Digital asset management and/or publishing workflow management
  • Strong financial acumen with specific background in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Prior non-profit management experience
