Our Internship program offers college students the opportunity to learn about exclusive private brand and have hands on work experience, learning from our business leaders sharing their invaluable experience and industry knowledge. Our ideal candidates are smart, hard-working, goal-oriented, creative thinkers and willing to commit to every level of participation. The program includes monthly meetings with industry executives, daily interaction with experienced designers, and the chance to make a real impact on the company through design and development process.
Other responsibilities include; assisting with the following: approving color submits, creating trend/concept/fabric and color boards, and the creation of all line review presentation materials.
What to expect:
- Assist in trend forecasting/ inspirational R&D
- Assemble design inspirational images
- Measuring samples and assist in fit process
- Manage Color/Trim submits as part of the production/execution of the line
- Gain experience through structured shadowing assignments
- Build formal mentorship
- Exposure to fashion industry and gain real world experience
Candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of garment construction is a plus!
- Team player with a passion for Design & Development
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical skills and strong decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook for general day to day tasks
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and team-player approach
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
