Role Summary
At Sherwood Design Engineers, we value collaboration that incorporates multiple perspectives and believe that diverse ideas produce more robust and equitable solutions. We have an amazing opportunity for a driven and curious Design Engineer focused on Water/Wastewater treatment design to support our team.
Minimum Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Civil and/or Environmental
• Strong Water/Wastewater technical background, including in-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes including for water reuse
• Knowledge of project phases including master planning, conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration
• Ability to research and interpret technical documents
• Experience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phases including providing redlines for drafter
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of civil design programs (Civil 3D, LDT, Storm and Sewer Analysis, Hydro CAD, Flowmasters, Storm CAD, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Graphics programs (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with Water/Wastewater process modeling simulation software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X)
• Certifications or other sustainability-oriented accreditation preferred (iLEED , Envision, Living Building Challenge, EcoDistricts)
