Must-Haves:
- Ability to design, select raw materials, and operate extruders/braiding equipment for hose manufacturing.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience in hydraulics and hose assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement Projects:
- Lead manufacturing collaboration for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and QC to address production and QC challenges.
- Contribute to new product development and enhance existing offerings under the guidance of the Director of Product Development.
- Apply creative thinking to develop smart fluid conveyance solutions addressing customer needs.
- Provide valuable feedback through testing, development, and qualification of new/existing product lines.
- Manage ERP system setup for new part numbers, routings, work tickets, and other details.
- Create detailed drawings in SolidWorks, collaborating with suppliers for seamless integration.
- Work with Supply Management to integrate new suppliers, parts, and streamline production.
- Engage with production and extrusion teams for innovative concepts and streamlined product designs.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, hose assembly, and thermoplastic hose extrusion.
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding is a plus.
- Demonstrate a passion for innovation and problem-solving in the field.
