Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus in Structural Design.
- Working knowledge and understanding of current building codes and standard industry practices.
- Preferred - Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more states or jurisdictions.
- Preferred - MBS experience

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility is to utilize knowledge of engineering, steel building structures, steel fabrication, construction, metal building products and Alliance design standards to provide the most cost and design effective engineering service to meet customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the complete design of a metal building system package and provide all necessary and associated construction documents such as engineering calculations.
- Responsible for timely design revisions and drafting/detailing support.
- Responsible for meeting schedule for release of original designs, revisions, and requests for information.
- Provides support to resolve customer service and field issues.
- Duties may also include assisting the estimating department with building weights and framing concepts.
