We have an exciting opportunity for an assistant designer to join our team full time. This is an ideal opportunity for an assistant designer who has excellent graphic design and CAD skills who is passionate about childrenswear.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Work closely with Senior Designers to assist in the design process.
- Creating Tech-packs and communicating daily with overseas factories.
- Keeping all the TP’s organized and clear in PLM.
- Review and comment on all submissions.
- Ability to work with Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
- Ability to balance various tasks and projects while maintaining all deadlines is essential.
IT’S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE…
- the ability to create new prints.
- working knowledge of garment construction and trim
- garment measurement and specification experience plus
- demonstrated an ability to do creative, focused visual presentations
- strong written and communication skills
- good follow through and sense of urgency

Salary Range $50,000 - $55,000
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Arts or related field is required.
Job is on-site in Midtown Manhattan, Mon-Fri 9-5.
