Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is looking for a Deputy Director of Defensive Cybersecurity Operations (DCO). The Deputy Director will help oversee key aspects of the DCO mission area, with a specific focus on program management, customer success, and growth. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Sealing Technologies delivers robust cybersecurity solutions that meet client needs while driving operational efficiency and business expansion. The Deputy Director will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with internal teams, and foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:

Program Management

• Assist the Director in developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and programs.
• Oversee the execution of multiple cybersecurity projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate with project managers and team leads to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
Customer Success

• Develop and implement strategies establish the customer success organization.
• Identify and hire top talent for the customer success team, ensuring a mix of technical and interpersonal skills.
• Mentor and develop customer success team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Create and refine processes and best practices for customer onboarding, engagement, and retention.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience across all touchpoints.
Growth and Business Development

• Foster a growth mindset across the organization, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build and manage a robust DCO sales pipeline within active programs to ensure steady progress and growth.
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new market segments.
• Leverage customer relationships to support and enhance other parts of the organization, including marketing, sales, and product development.
• Assist in the development of proposals, including scope of work, budget estimates, and timelines.
• Support the Director in developing strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance the company’s cybersecurity offerings.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Operational Efficiency

• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the DCO team.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and policies.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to DCO team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in program management, account management, and cybersecurity operations, with progressive responsibilities.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering successful outcomes.
• Experience in scheduling, risk management, and performance management in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead customer success teams, including hiring, mentoring, and developing talent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients.
• Knowledge of DCO platforms, tools, and services
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD Contract Negotiations and Execution
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM)
• Experience delivering on Cost Plus and Fixed Firm Price contract vehicles
• Proven leadership in a technical field

The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
