Deputy Chief Information Officer

This position is located in the Immediate Office, House Information Resources (HIR), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), U.S. House of Representatives (House).Qualifications:

      8 years of relevant experience

      Master's Degree in Information Technology or Associated Discipline or equivalent senior level experience

      Knowledge of a wide range of technical and administrative areas to include the preparation of directorate budgets and major hardware and resources procurements.

      Knowledge of systems engineering principles and objectives.

      Ability to recognize and deal with politically sensitive issues in both technical and legislative environments.

      Knowledge of requirements definition and detailed design for Information Technology systems.

      Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with elected officials, senior staff thereof, information systems professionals, and technical and non-technical users.
