About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Directing and coordinating work operations in an aviation aircraft overhaul and repair maintenance production environment; Establishing timelines, estimating labor resources and monitoring assignments, recommending changes and determining all resource elements needed to meet quality, cost and schedule goals; Monitoring and validating information within the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) to ensure current program labor, material and overhead costs are within negotiated limits; Determining continuous process improvement such as, finding ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, improving collaboration, efficiency optimization, promote team building, and improve business practices; Defining, measuring and mitigating risks to operations; AND Providing advice and guidance to subordinate supervisors and staff on both work and administrative matters. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
