Launched during summer 2023, Ford Integrated Services will create and market new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services will allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicle like never before, with OTA-driven experiences that grow better over time. Ford is developing leadership at the forefront of connected, digital platforms that will revolutionize every aspect of how vehicles function, the way people interact with them, and the value those vehicles provide.

This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing Communications, Integrated Services, who reports to the Global Chief Marketing Officer.

In this position...

Ford is seeking a Director of Performance Marketing for Integrated Services who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Performance Marketing strategy across the portfolio, driving a measurable journey from lead to acquisition to retention. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Performance Marketing, subscription marketing, paid media, CRM, and marketing technology platforms.

This role will be responsible for working across the organization, particularly with Paid Media, CRM, Search, Web, Global Data & Analytics, Customer Insights & Analytics, and the Software/IT organizations to define Performance Marketing requirements, and implement measurement, tracking and optimization processes.

The Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for building a team to best support the emerging needs of Integrated Services. Key deliverables and responsibilities include:

  • Planning, development and execution of comprehensive Performance Marketing strategies to drive service revenue growth including paid, earned and own channels

  • Establishment of test and learn discipline to drive continuous improvement

  • Audience development, customer journey mapping and optimization

  • Establish measurement framework for services discipline

  • Mentor and develop an agile, collaborative and high performing Performance Marketing team

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to segment audiences, personalize messaging and improve campaign performance

  • Partner with agencies and external partners to enhance strategic marketing efforts to achieve business goals

This hybrid position requires 30-50% travel and core EST working hours.

You’ll have...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 10+ years in specializing in performance/growth marketing

  • Proven track record developing Performance Marketing capabilities within large, highly matrixed organizations

  • Experience building data, funnels, and metrics into executive reports with actionable recommendations

  • Experience managing a mix of direct reports, matrixed reports and agencies

  • Transformational mindset, comfortable making decisions under uncertainty in an emerging field

  • Ease in regularly presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to drive implementation and proactively shift directions as needed

  • Direct experience in partnering with business, software and data team leads to develop effective, actionable marketing analytics accountable to driving business results

  • Deep familiarity with marketing technology platforms and ability to converse & collaborate effectively with technical partners to drive performance capabilities roadmaps and get the most out of platform performance

  • Ability to work well with data partners to feed actionable insights coupled with specific optimization recommendations back to the business

  • A passion for simplicity coupled with an ability to translate complex Performance Marketing workstreams into executive-level summaries

  • Flexible, collaborative, with comfort pivoting quickly to support fast-moving business needs
