Responsibilities:
- Perform patient treatment plan presentation explaining patient and insurance portion of fees, encouraging patient understanding and acceptance, offering in office payment plan options/CareCredit
- Follow up and schedule patients treatment past due
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Perform hygiene recall/rec are calls
- Verify patient insurance including remaining benefits, percentages covered, downgrades, deductible
- Check treatment codes for accuracy
- Sending Pre-Authorization for treatment as necessary
- Obtain patients insurance benefit breakdown details and input patient data into EagleSoft
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating patient treatment for small and extensive treatment plans
- Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
Requirements:
- Previous dental treatment plan experience
- Competent knowledge of dental insurances
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Proficient in dental records management and electronic dental record systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
