- Schedule and confirm appointments for treatment
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system (Epic)
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Coordinate referrals to other specialists or healthcare providers
- Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
```Skills:```
- Experience working as a dental receptionist or in an administrative role in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
- Preferred - Proficient in using electronic medical records systems (Dentrix)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
