Job Description: We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Treatment Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who is easy to get along with, collaborative, and willing to be open and communicative to continue to support the environment we have already created.
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and service. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and will work closely with them to understand their dental needs and coordinate treatment plans. It's important that you are always presentable with a great attitude. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all administrative tasks related to patient care are completed accurately and efficiently.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Consultation & Education:
- Conduct comprehensive treatment consultations, breaking down complex dental procedures into understandable terms for patients.
- Use visual aids, models, and digital tools to explain dental conditions and recommended treatments further.
- Follow up post-treatment to gauge patient satisfaction, answer lingering questions, and address any concerns.
- Financial & Insurance Coordination:
- Offer detailed cost estimates for proposed treatments, ensuring transparency.
- Navigate and advise on insurance coverages, claim submissions, and benefit maximization.
- Provide guidance on in-house financing options, payment plans, and any available promotions or discounts.
- Liaise with insurance providers to confirm coverage details and expedite claim processes.
- Appointment Scheduling & Management:
- Collaborate with dental professionals to optimize appointment schedules, balancing patient needs with clinic availability.
- Manage patient reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups to reduce no-shows and cancellations.
- Address rescheduling needs, ensuring minimal disruption to the patient and the practice.
- Administrative Excellence:
- Uphold impeccable patient data management standards, ensuring records are accurate, updated, and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when required, managing the logistical and informational aspects.
- Regularly review and analyze patient feedback, suggesting improvements to the practice management team.
- Collaborative Teamwork:
- Engage continuously with the dental team, ensuring everyone is updated on patient statuses, concerns, and changes.
- Attend regular team meetings, contributing to patient care standards, operational efficiency, and clinic growth discussions.
- Advocate for patient needs, ensuring their voice is heard and addressed within the practice.Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure that they feel comfortable and welcome
- Understand patients' dental needs and work with the dentist to create personalized treatment plans
- Explain treatment plans to patients and answer any questions they may have
- Verify insurance and make sure plans are accurately showing patient portions
- Schedule appointments for patients and ensure that they are seen in a timely manner
- Follow up with patients who have yet to schedule with a phone call
- Follow up with patients to ensure that they are satisfied with their treatment and experience
- Ensure that all patient records are accurate and up to date
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
