Dental Technician (We Will Train You!) [Ft]

Title: Entry-Level Dental Technician

Location: Waunakee, WI

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Responsibilities

General

• Interpret and follow dentists prescriptions (Rx) to create dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, and dentures
• Utilize dental impressions and/or intraoral scans to design and construct dental models (replicas of the patient's teeth)
• Operate and maintain dental laboratory tools, materials, equipment, and machinery
• Collaborate with other Dental Technicians to ensure proper form, fit, and function of each prosthetic

D&S is currently hiring in the departments listed below and scheduled interviews will include a laboratory tour with an explanation to highlight each available position. The hiring team will work with you to narrow down the positions based on your level of interest while also considering D&S' top priorities and hiring needs at the time.

Removable Department (Dentures)

• Model Room: Create stone models by using the patient impression, articulate, trim, and invest the models, which is the starting point for the customization of each dental prosthetic at D&S
• Digital Scanning & Model Building: Use digital scans sent by dentists to create stone models and also create digital files and products from existing stone models

Fixed Department (Crown & Bridge)

• Scanning & Design: Upload patient models digitally using multiple 3D scanner simultaneously along with the associated computer software, download intraoral scans, and work in a team-based environment where the eventual progression of the position might lead into a CAD/CAM Dental Technician designer opportunity

• Job-related duties include the above description, but are not limited by them

• Required: No previous experience required
• Preferred: Dental background appreciated

Education

• Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent
