The role of the Specialty Care Team Lead is to foster a seamless integration of specialty services into regional practices. This person will work alongside the OBMs, RBMs, practice team members, specialty team members, specialists, and our Director of Specialty Services, to improve efficiency, increase production, and maintain profitability of the Specialty Care Team (s). They will be responsible for managing the day to day specialty team(s), ensuring that systems and procedures are in place and being followed daily, and establishing and maintaining a productive specialty schedule.
Core responsibilities:
- Help build and train a Specialty Care Team
- Put systems in place to ensure compliance and be in charge of ongoing audits to ensure ongoing compliance
- Ensuring the specialists’ schedules are available for scheduling, advertised and visible; full with opportunities
- Managing the schedules of the specialists for optimal utilization and results
- Ensure Specialty Care Team members have understanding of their schedule and assist them to organize their work.
- Handle situations, identify when to escalate
- Meet daily production and profitability targets
- Track results and share with the Director of Specialty Services, CCOO, VP of Operations and Operations Team weekly and monthly
- Work AR for Specialty Team
- Leading a team of specialty employees and responsibility for hiring and terminations with collaboration of the DSS, reviews, and proper staffing for each specialist
- Work in collaboration with the Office Business Managers and Regional Business Managers to achieve goals and specialty integration
- Build and maintain relationships with OBMs, FO, GPs, ancillary team members (practice and specialty).
- Collaborate with other Specialty Care Team Leads.
- Assist and work alongside designated FO team members.
- Travel to offices to ensure specialty success, help market the specialist to practices, and thank practices for successful specialty days
- Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required
- Attend Support Office and other Specialty Care Team meetings and be prepared for 1:1’s.
- Practice remote communication
- Help as needed in other areas.

- Advanced knowledge of and experience with Excel are strongly preferred
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned from time to time
- Ability to practice asynchronous communication using Support Office tools (ie asana, GDrive)
