SalaryWe are searching for an enthusiastic and collaborative Dental Scheduling Coordinator to join our practice in Woodbridge Township, NJ. This role entails welcoming patients, managing an efficient schedule for both dentists and hygienists, verifying that patients have booked their appointments for care, collecting payments/co-payments, and responding to calls. The Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate closely with a Treatment Coordinator and an Insurance Coordinator. The Scheduling Coordinator will eventually be cross-trained to assume other duties as well.
Compensation:$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome patients at the reception desk
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments for doctors and hygienists
- Optimize productivity of schedules for doctors and hygienists
- Post-op calls for patients
- Answer and direct phone calls as needed
- Communicate with other offices and specialists as needed regarding patient care
- Ensure patient insurance and personal information are up to date and entered into the system
- Maintain and organize patient records, files, and accounts accurately and securely
- 18 years or older
- US Work Authorization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills (Determined by an Assessment)
- Previous experience in a dental office or related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Dentrix/Dexis strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask
