We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in the front office.
```Responsibilities:```
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our office phone system
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records using Epic or Eaglesoft software
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about dental services
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
```Skills:```
- Proven experience in an administrative or front desk role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Proficiency in using office software and phone systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients of all ages
- Knowledge of Epic or Eaglesoft software is a plus
