We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist at Awesome Dental. As the first point of contact for our Dental Office, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our patients. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately in the system
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-up visits
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries, providing information about services, fees, and insurance coverage
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for treatment
- Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and deductibles
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable and inviting environment for patients
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient flow and scheduling of appointments
- Manage and coordinate patient records, including filing and retrieval
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the Dental Office
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
