Gold Canyon Dentistry is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The Dental Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for handling insurance claims, verifying coverage, and ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Process and submit insurance claims for dental treatments
2. Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
3. Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and communicate with insurance companies for resolution
4. Ensure accuracy in insurance billing and coding
5. Maintain and update patient insurance records
6. Handle insurance-related inquiries from patients
7. Assist in financial discussions and collections from patients
8. Collaborate with dental providers and staff to ensure smooth insurance processes

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or in a similar role
• Familiarity with dental software, including Dentrix and Dexis
• Strong knowledge of Dental Insurance codes and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High level of professionalism and integrity
