Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative

The Georgia Dental Association’s insurance subsidiary, Georgia Dental Insurance Services (GDIS), seeks an Insurance Renewal CSR. This position will be responsible for renewal retention within the organization and producer support. We are looking for an individual who is a quick learner and who is a team player. The ideal candidate has at least five years of Customer Service experience in the insurance industry and an active Property and Casualty Insurance license. Description of Key Responsibilities

• Assist in general office duties, including triaging incoming calls, opening mail, etc.
• Review renewal policies to ensure adequate coverage and offer additional coverage when necessary.
• Support assigned producer with applications, certificates, and evidence of property coverage.
• Email and call insureds on cancellations.
• Assist in answering questions regarding billing and other Customer Service inquiries.
• Assist in filing and organizing insurance documents and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• An active GA Property and Casualty License
• At least five years of Customer Service experience in the insurance field
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent listening and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Attention to detail a must.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
• Problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
• Positive attitude a must
