Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-pays or fees
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system (eClinicalWorks)
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists
- Ensure the Front Desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with Front Desk operations and patient service systems
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records software (eClinicalWorks)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
