Dental Assistant/Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. If you have experience in dental reception and possess excellent communication and organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

-Running errands as needed

-Flipping rooms for the doctor and Hygienist

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist preferred
- Familiarity with dental office systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
