Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office. Your role will involve managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Dentrix
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, both electronic and paper-based
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix,
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
