We are a boutique concierge FFS dental practice. Our patients expect the best from our team and we love to deliver it! Flexible work hours - have a work/life balance! No early morning appointments. 2-4 Saturdays a month, depending on the season. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, organized, outgoing, caring, motivated and skilled DENTAL ASSISTANT to join our team! ```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays (fully digital office)
- Know how to chart restorative, periodontal and other exams
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Experience with Carestream is a plus
- Break down and set-up operatories
- Welcome patients to the office and seat them
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures
- Knowledge of Itero scanning and intraoral camera use a plus
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using Carestream a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Able to handle responsibility
- Competent in dealing with computers and using state of the art technology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, serious, hard working and capable
- Willing to grow and become an integral part of our team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
