Full-Time Certified Dental Assistant, NC DA I or DA II

We are offering a full-time position for a Certified Dental Assistant at a practice specialized in periodontics and dental implants. We want a positive, motivated team member to join our growing practice as we help provide quality care to our patients. We have a modern office, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a dedicated dentist providing quality care.

Computer knowledge is required.

Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association

Pre-employment drug testing

• Assist the dentist in providing patient care.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and surgeries.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Enter patient treatment into software.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instruction.
• Place digital film sensors, expose digital radiographs and CBCT scans.
• Execute computer processing of the digital x-ray images.
• Maintain operatory to meet the clinic's cleanliness and infection control standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
