Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant who loves to simply help in any way needed. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. Billingual/Spanish and dental assiting experience are highly valued, but we will train a person with a smiling, caring, helping, learning personality. Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix, Epic, or similar software
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
