Dental Assistant

Office hours are 7:30am-5pm Monday- Thursday. A four day work week!

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform patient assessments and record medical history
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Understanding of medical imaging techniques and interpretation of X-rays
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Strong anatomy knowledge to assist with dental procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes

We are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry team. A four day work week in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of dental assisting, including patient care, instrument sterilization, and radiography. The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential.
