Dental Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Select and Set up instruments, equipment and materials as needed
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

You must have a California X-ray Certification to be considered for this position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
