Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
